Park Cemetery has plenty of open space for burials to last for generations. The board has identified paths, roads and a section of the cemetery along Capitol Avenue that may be used for burial plots. This past year, the new board of directors opened two new sections in the paths and roads for burials. These are beautifully landscaped and maintained single and double plots for sale.
New this year, Park Cemetery is the very first cemetery in the region to use GPS coordinates to record your family’s plots location. This location is recorded in our records and on your deed so that your family will always know exactly where your plot is located.
In addition, if you family decides to purchase a monument for your plot, we require that your monument company sandblast the plot location on the base of your family monument. This ensures that the monument location, combined with the GPS coordinates, is precise.
The new board has been fiscally prudent in investing all money from the sale of new plots into cleaning up, maintaining and landscaping the cemetery. We know that the cemetery’s appearance is important to our families, and we want you to know that the cemetery landscape improves every day.
