Families and monument companies, please check with the cemetery before purchasing/ordering a headstone for placement in Park Cemetery. We do have regulations for height, length, and type of headstone for all sections within Park Cemetery. It is advisable to call the cemetery office if you are unsure what you may place on a grave.
Please note if you choose to order a headstone online, that you are required to find a monument company to set the headstone. Park Cemetery will not accept delivery of any headstone or marker. Please do not have your order shipped to the cemetery. If you need a referral to have a headstone installed, please call the office for a list of local monuments companies.
We do require that all upright monuments are 8″ thick and are no taller than 42″ in height including the base. All bases placed must be 8″ in height for upright monuments and 6″ in height for slant headstones. Flush markers must be 4″ thick. Monuments that are less than these requirements will be taken off the grave and the monument company will be asked to pick up the headstone.
In addition, all monuments must have the grave location sandblasted onto the backside of the monument. Markers must have the grave location sandblasted on the side of the marker. Any monuments and markers which do not have their location engraved will be removed and stored until an monument company has completed this work.
Park Cemetery allows both Porcelains and Etchings on headstones. We also allow granite vases, as long as the vase is adhered to the base.

- Section 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 annex, A, AA, B, BB Call office for guidance.
- Section EE, FF, double uprights and slants only max, 4-0 x 1-0
- Section 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, all styles, single graves max 2-0 x 1-0; double graves max 4-0 x 1-0, max height 42”
- Section 6, slants and uprights only, no markers, max 2-6 x 1-0 for single graves
- Section 8A, 9A and 9B, grassmarker, slants and hickeys, max 2-0 x 1-0
- Section W and X, suggested pillows, hickeys, may place a grass marker or single upright, max 2-0 x 2-0
- Section C, CC, D, DD, grass markers or slants, max 2-0 x 1-0
- Section L: grass marker only, max 2-0 x 1-0
- Section G: Slants only, max 2-6 x 1-0
- Section GG, all styles, max 2-6 x 1-0
- Urn Garden, grass markers only, max 2-0 x 1-0
We also require that every monument has a concrete footing underneath. Concrete footings may be ordered through the cemetery between April and November of each season. There is a footing fee, also know as a foundation fee which may be paid by check or money order to Park Cemetery Association. The foundation fee is charged by the square foot of the headstones base dimensions. Below is the schedule of fees:
